It seems that a certain Yum Yum was given a beautiful wedding dress that was fastened securely at the back with hooks and eyes – I’m no expert, but I’m told that’s usual.

It came unhooked on stage. Fortunately, this was during “Brightly Dawns Our Wedding Day” so Nanki Poo was on hand to hold the dress together, protecting Yum Yum’s modesty.

There was just enough time in the number for KoKo, who was waiting in the wings, to notice the dilemma and locate a safety pin.

Yum Yum ran off stage at the end of the madrigal for a quick repair before coming straight back into Nanki Poo’s arms in time for KoKo’s entrance.
