Wolverton G&S Society
Wolverton G&S Society is a thriving and successful amateur music group. We have been performing since 1975.
We perform the works of Gilbert & Sullivan as well as other good musicals and we bring people together with songs and smiles. It’s like magic, but the secret is just good friends and great music!
Our Next Show
Our next production is The Zoo and Other Greedy Animals.
It’s confection built around the Zoo-tastic “The Zoo” by by Benjamin Charles Stephenson with music by Arthur Sullivan. This show predates, Sullivan’s collaboration with W.S. Gilbert. His music brilliantly highlights Stephenson’s wonderful absurdities in this witty production.
Witty and short!
The Zoo is about animals, of course, but glutony is a big factor! It’s our excuse for searching out music about animals and food. Expect anything from Teddy Bears to Hippos, luncheon to banquets and champagne to sherry!

Our 50th Anniversary Logo
Wolverton G&S was formed in 1974 and we gave our first performance in May 1975. We commissioned a special logo to mark the anniversary from Charlotte Crane who designed our main logo.
