Media Kit
This page has resources to help print and media journalists and bloggers to write about Wolverton Gilbert and Sullivan Society
Wolverton G&S Society
Wolverton G&S Society is a thriving and successful amateur music group. We have been performing since 1975.
We perform the works of Gilbert & Sullivan as well as other good musicals and we bring people together with songs and smiles. It’s like magic, but the secret is just good friends and great music!
Our Next Show
We are joining forces with the amazing Wolverton Light Orchestra and Secklow Brass for a sparkling evening’s entertainment at Stantonbury Theatre. The show starts at 7:30 pm on Sunday 17th May
Some very special orchestral arrangements by Mike Crofts and Malcolm Crane feature in this celebration concert.
The list includes favourites such as:
- Another Opening, Another Show!
- Make Your Own Kind of Music
- There’s No Business Like Show Business
and much more besides

Our 50th Anniversary Logo
Wolverton G&S was formed in 1974 and we gave our first performance in May 1975. We commissioned a special logo to mark the anniversary from Charlotte Crane who designed our main logo.
