Graham Breeze
Graham Breeze joined us for our 1998 production of Iolanthe. The photo shows him in our 2019 Iolanthe, a show he starred in and directed. In fact Graham directed us for 22 years, a process that apparently didn’t age him a single day!

Graham took on his first leading role as Luiz in 1999, marking the beginning of a prolific career. His strong vocal abilities and impressive acting skills made him a natural choice for many roles.
Graham also showcased his directorial talents, starting with Yeomen of the Guard in 2003. His acclaimed direction set the stage for nearly two decades of successful G&S productions and other notable shows.

Not that directing us really drove Graham to despair! Here he is as Carboy in The Zoo. Don’t worry. He was rescued.
Of course Graham was more than just our director and lead performer. He chaired our society from 2004 to 2016, a remarkable 13-year stint which saw us produce some fine shows including the entire published G&S canon, several of them twice.

One of the non-G&S shows Graham directed was Godspell. Here he is as Judas Iscariot. We enjoyed Godspell so much, we performed it three times!
The society was fortunate indeed to have Graham dedicate so much time and talent to us. He’s still a member, so who knows…
