Ros Whatmore
Ros Whatmore joined us as an accompanist in 1991 for our production of Yeomen of the Guard. She had already played for us a few times at rehearsals and often in the pit orchestra.
Ros is another of those who prefer to shun the limelight, which is why she will find this excruciating and why we could only find these photos!
Ros is a very accomplished musician and a superb accompanist. As well as playing for rehearsals, she has accompanied our performances either as a solo pianist or part of an ensemble.
Ros played for our society right up until “We Have a Song”, our 2022 comeback concert. Wolverton G&S owe a great debt of gratitude to Ros. She still pops in from time to time to play for us when she can.
