Our Kind of Music: Musical Theatre at Stantonbury Theatre, Milton Keynes
17th May 2026 at Stantonbury Theatre

This show includes drunken gamblers, drag queens and pirates.
So just your usual Wolverton Gilbert and Sullivan really.
We are delighted so many of you came to our last concert “Springtime in Song”. It was a sell out show and your comments were very positive.
If you enjoyed “Springtime”, our May 17th show is like that but turned up to 11!
We’re moving from the church hall to the stage of Stantonbury Theatre, joining forces with the spectacular Wolverton Light Orchestra and the big-band roar of Secklow Brass.
You can expect a technicolour musical feast featuring everything from West End showstoppers to a touch of witchcraft (and yes, the drag queen and pirates are coming too).
Don’t miss the biggest sound in Milton Keynes this May!
Tickets are on sale now and, with only one performance, they are moving quickly!
The set list includes favourites such as:
- Another Opening, Another Show!
- There’s No Business Like Show Business
- Make Your Own Kind of Music
- and plenty of G&S favourites!

What your ticket buys
Your ticket money doesn’t just get you a seat for the best show in town. You are not only guaranteeing yourself a great evening’s entertainment, you are helping us keep musical theatre alive in MK.
Wolverton G&S is one of a diminishing number of groups that still perform with a live orchestra. We think it’s the best way to keep musical theatre and especially the spirit of Gilbert and Sullivan vibrant and relevant.
It’s expensive of course and your ticket money goes towards helping us continue that great tradition. Thank you.
Meet the Crew!

We are delighted to welcome Charlie to the rostrum. He is a joy to work with and always gets the best from his singers.

Graham Mitchell
Our Producer
Graham is no stranger to producing. His organisational skills help bring shows to the stage on time and in budget.
He is the one who makes sure that our shows actually go ahead!

Rowena Gibbons
Our Chorus rehearsal accompanist
Rowena is a talented pianist and a musical director of her own choir. We are delighted that she is back with us to accompany our chorus rehearsals.
