It shows Derek Fielder as The Pirate King and Mary Clayton as Ruth with a fearsome crew of pirates looking on. That show was directed by H. Milwood Wildey and the musical director was Arnold Jones

Further productions followed in 1984, 1993, 2001, 2011 and 2016. Our most recent performance of this amazingly popular show was in 2024 directed by Shona Gilchrist and under the baton of David Anstice-Pim.
